Valentines Day is less than a month away so I pulled together some of my favorite sweets (see Donuts three times LOL) that you could get your valentine/galentine outside of the normal box of chocolates from Target.
Pro-tip: Cheesecake flavors change all the time and Samantha constantly has amazing new flavors. Keep your eyes posted for her upcoming events, she does lots of great pairings.
Pro-tip: Amy’s is open 24 hours on Saturday so a fun date could be checking out Hollywood Casino and grabbing late night donuts.

Pro-tip: Create an entire box of all your val/galentines favorite donuts – it’s like your giving your valentine a work of don-art.
Pro-tip: Their creme brulee doughnut is my favorite doughnut in Columbus. Keep your eyes peeled on their Facebook page to find out where the truck is parked.
Pro-tip: Steve’s J-Pops are all-natural, no additives, no preservatives, gluten free, no coloring ice pops. The average pop has only 4 ingredients so it’s the perfect healthy valentines treat.
Pro-tip: Paul and Michelle currently have a pop-up location at Easton (through March) located at 3951 Easton Square Place East. Columbus. 43219 (Old Lush Space – Next to Brio / Opposite Chicos).
Pro-tip: Huge selection of hand-crafted artisan breads, croissant, scones, cookies, cakes, pies and delicious pastries but one not to miss is the cinnamon roll. It was their grandmothers recipe so you can really taste the heart and soul in them.
Pro-tip: Belle’s is a Japanese, French bakery so you can find a HUGE variety cakes, breads and pastries but my favorite is their green tea ice cream swirled with vanilla pictured below.
Pro-tip: Family owned coffeehouse with specialty coffee, teas and boba plus a bakery where the cupcakes are baked fresh every day.
Pro-tip: Not only do they have a massive selection of candy but their soda selection is out of this world. Make your val/galentine a great gift basket of her favorite childhood candies along with the perfect soda six-pack!

Pro-tip: Hit up happy hour (3-7p Monday-Friday) and through February you can get both rollies and boba buy 1 get one half off.
Pro-tip: Head over to their super cute shop Thursday – Saturday for every sweet your heart desires. Think cake pops, macarons, Rice Krispie treats, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered oreos + nutter butters, buckeyes, cupcakes and so much more!
Pro-tip: Join in the morning for breakfast for delicious Scones, Muffins, Biscotti and more to go with house and flavored freshly brewed coffee and lattes.
Pro-tip: Perfect for your gluten-free val/galentine but really, whether you are gluten-free or not, these treats are not to miss as I mentioned in my coffee post last week.
Pro-tip: Go for the gummy bears (seriously the best gummy bears on the planet) but while you are there, grab a pound of bacon and whip up some brown sugar bacon for you val/galentines breakfast in bed.
and if all else fails, be extra romantic and bake her something special. Stop by Smidge and Pinch for all your baking needs
Remember valentines day is about the people you love – and that’s everyone from your child’s teacher, to your FedEx guy, to your significant other. Focus on the love you have for these people and find a way to show them. Sweets is ALWAYS the way to my heart but I never underestimate the power of a love note!
